Praying for the Emergency Services 10 June 2009

Visiting guests from all three emergency services joined us at the June 2009 prayer meeting.

The points of concern they brought for prayer included safety in the line of duty, effective prevention of major incidents, levels of violent youth crime and personal awareness of safety issues in the home and workplace.

We were encouraged to pray the Blues 'n' Twos Prayer each time we hear a siren:

Father, please bless our emergency services as they respond to this call and those they are going to help. Amen.
